Adult Education

Adult Forum:

Each Sunday at 9:10 a.m., adults meet in our parish hall, called Patience Hall, to listen and participate in informative and interesting forums.  The topics of the forums are described in the weekly announcements and in the rector's weekly e-blast news.  Check out the Events Calendar in the right hand column on our home page or at this link for upcoming topics.

Book Groups:

Women of Spirit Book Club-

The Women of Spirit is a book club for women. We read books written by a woman, or whose main character is woman. The theme of the books we choose most often involve a spiritual journey or a discovery in relationships with God or others. We get together and share our thoughts and reactions to what we’ve read.  We share experiences from our own lives, too, frequently laughing, but always praying that the stories we read guide us in our own daily lives and journeys.

 St. Mark's Book Club-

Are you looking for a low-keyed, friendly book group with a slightly different approach? Rather than focus on a single book title, this group invites each person to share a book they have enjoyed and would like to recommend to other readers. Any genre may be chosen. The title and a brief summary or comments are given to the other participants. This format makes every meeting an opportunity for new folks to drop in, participate or just listen and allows for the introduction of a wide selection of titles both old and new.  Our group of men and women meets once every six weeks on a Monday or Tuesday evening at 7:30. Join us and get some ideas for your reading list!
