Past Mission Trips

2017:  Window Rock, AZ, a small city that serves as the seat of government and capital of the Navajo Nation, the largest territory of a sovereign Native American nation in North America.

2016:  Puerto Rico to serve as missioners through Lifetree Adventures. Our work consisted of service projects such as yard work, cleaning, painting and general maintenance throughout the poorest communities on the island.

2015: Charleston, SC. We spent our part of our first evening at Mother Emmanuel, AME, where the Charleston shootings had occurred just weeks before. We all knew we were on sacred ground as soon as we got there, and the visit was holy for all of us. We ate, slept, and worshipped at Group Mission Trip’s Charleston Headquarters in North Charleston. Our work projects were at  youth camps and assisted living facilities.

2014:  Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota. We held a Vacation Bible School, did light construction work, and shared God’s love with those we meet.

2013:  Rutland, Vermont.

2012:  Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Worked in small groups to serve the needs of various organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, a local nursing home, World Vision, Youth with a Mission, and Salvation Army.
