United Thank Offering (UTO)

The term United Thank Offering (UTO) was first used at the 1925 General Convention and is a nationally sponsored program by the Episcopal Church Women.  Prior to 1925, UTO was referred to as “United Offering”. 

This program provides financial support via grants to support innovative mission and ministry throughout the Episcopal Church and Provinces of the Anglican Communion.  The website is found on www.episcopalchurch.org/united-thank-offering

St Mark’s offers collections twice a year through blue boxes and envelopes.  If you would like to donate from your iphone or ipad, there is an United Thank Offering (UTO Blue Box) app can be downloaded for free from the Apple Store through iTunes for these IOS devices.

The UTO Fulfillment Center is located in northern Arizona, in Navajoland. Their mission was built by Episcopal missionaries 130 years ago.
