Beginning of Service

Your first visit with us may cause you to have questions about the service. Many worshippers kneel and pray before the service. This is a time to connect to God and to prepare our hearts for worship. This is an individual choice.

Before the service, you will hear our church bell chime signaling that the service is about to begin. This is our historic 1907 bell that rang in our first chapel. The service will begin with a processional down the center aisle to the altar singing the Processional hymn.  If you do not care to sing, that is fine. The processional includes the acolyte carrying the cross followed by choir and the clergy.
